Cancelling or changing issued tickets

On the order page, you can cancel an issued ticket, change its ticket type, and update its assigned seat.

Changing the ticket type

Find the ticket you want to change and choose “Edit ticket”:

This opens a form where you can choose another ticket type:

If you change the ticket type, the related sales and availability figures for the event ticket types are updated accordingly. To send the updated ticket to the buyer, use the "Resend..." button on the order page.

Changing seats

For events with reserved seating, the ticket editing form also shows the row and seat numbers. If you want to change them, enter the new row and seat numbers in the relevant fields:

When changing a seat, the previous seat will be released on the seating plan.

Cancelling a ticket

Find the ticket you want to cancel, choose “Edit ticket”, and then select “Cancel ticket”.

When you cancel a ticket, the related sales and availability figures for that ticket type are updated accordingly. If the event has reserved seating, the seat will also be released on the seating plan. Please note that cancelling a ticket does not automatically refund the buyer.

You can use this feature if you want to exchange a ticket, meaning you send the buyer a new ticket for another event without issuing a refund. For more detailed instructions, please see the article on transferring tickets.
