Information for accountants

Revenue and VAT

When you use Fienta to sell tickets, the revenue is from your own sales made directly to your customers. Although the money moves through Fienta's bank account, it is still your sale with your VAT amount. In this context, Fienta can be seen as a payment processor.

You should register your sales the same way as if you were selling tickets at the venue or receiving direct payments from your event-goers. In accounting, the sales can be registered as one entry with reference to the XLS off-balance-sheet report downloaded from Fienta.

Payouts

We pay out during the first few business days of each month for the previous month's proceeds. In addition, you can request extra payouts at any time with a single click under "Settings" -> "Payouts". So if your event takes place at the beginning of the month, you do not need to wait until the end of the month.

From the payout, we deduct Fienta's service fee and any ticket refunds. Our payouts and service fee are calculated based on the actual cash inflow.

Invoice and reports

Fienta's invoices and reports are sent by email to the addresses you set under "Settings" -> "Billing documents". The same page also displays an archive of all the invoices and reports we have sent you.

As our service fee is deducted from the payout, the invoice is marked as "Paid".
