Discounts
Discount codes allow you to create discounts for ticket types, including 100% discounts for a single event or across all your events. You can use them to run campaigns, offer special deals, or distribute free tickets.
Event discounts
You can add multiple codes for each event, defining the discount per ticket as an amount or a percentage.
If needed, you can enable the discount only for selected ticket types, set a date range, and limit how many times or purchases your customers can use it for.
Order limit – sets how many purchases the code can be used for.
Ticket limit – sets how many tickets can be bought with the code in total.
If no limits are set, there are no default limitations for the number of tickets or orders the discount code can be used for.
For example:
1. You want to allow one person to purchase a discount ticket and determine how many tickets this person can buy with the discount code.
Order limit 1, Ticket limit unset – the discount code can be used once to buy as many tickets as possible.
Order limit 1, Ticket limit 2 – the discount code can be used once for buying up to two tickets.
Order limit unset, Ticket limit 1 – the discount code can be used once to buy one ticket. If you want to give this option to several buyers, create the corresponding number of discount codes with the same setting and send them to each person separately.
2. You want to allow several people to purchase tickets with a discount, but you want to determine how many tickets can be purchased with the discount code.
Order limit unset, Ticket limit 5 – the code can be used to buy five tickets, but the customer doesn’t have to buy all those tickets within a single order. For example, they can buy two tickets with one order and three tickets with the next one. You can also use this setting for a campaign in which the price is lower for the first five tickets.
Discounts for all organiser events
Similar to discount codes that are valid for only one event, you can create discount codes for all your events that apply to all your current and future events. The only difference is that you cannot limit an organiser code to a specific ticket type.
Hidden ticket types
If you want to create a discounted ticket type that is not visible to the public, create a new ticket type and set it to be visible only with a code/password.
It is handy for creating tickets with special names and prices for campaigns or discount tickets for partners and VIPs. Since it is a different ticket type, it is easy to distinguish it from others in the reports.
Using discount codes by the buyer
Your customers can enter the discount code on the checkout page in the field below the ticket selection. Their browser will remember it until a successful purchase, until they close the browser, or until they use another code.
Sharing discount codes
Besides sharing the code itself, you can also send a link containing the code. Use the following format and replace the event name and code with your own values:

Fienta also supports volume discounts. Here's how it works:
Single volume discount per event: you can only apply one volume discount per event, without the need for a discount code entry. You can specify which ticket types the discount applies to.
Multiple price levels: the volume discount can include different price levels. For example:
3 tickets: 5% off
5 and more tickets: 10% off
If a discount code is entered during the purchase, the volume discount will no longer apply. Instead, only the discount code will be used.
To help us provide the best possible solution, please share your volume discount requirements with us. This allows us to analyse your needs and determine how well they align with our functionality.
