Improvised Acting: Long-Form Scenes with Arek Ziętek
Niedziela 15. lutego o 14:00 - 17:00
Południk 2.0, Warszawa
ACTING IN LONGER-FORM IMPROV
3-Hour Intensive with Arek Ziętek
Modern improv didn’t happen by accident.
It started with Keith Johnstone, status, spontaneity, real listening, real play.
For the first time, Arek Ziętek, Warsaw-based theatre teacher and former assistant to Keith Johnstone, brings that approach into a focused 3-hour intensive on long-form improv and acting.
This is about scenes that hold.
Characters that feel human.
Relationships that carry the story without chasing jokes.
Whether you already improvise or you’re stepping in with curiosity and commitment, you’ll work with tools rooted in the foundations of modern improv practical, clear, and stage-ready.
We’ll focus on:
• Truthful characters, made fast
• Status, listening, and emotional commitment
• Relationships that generate story
• Staying present when scenes get long
Acting first. Comedy second.
