With over 20 years of international experience across theatres, festivals, television, and unconventional spaces, Jim brings a direct and playful approach to performance. His work blends improvisation, stand-up, and physical comedy, focusing on presence, instinct, listening, and real human connection.

Whether you want to improve your stage presence, communication skills, creativity, or simply try something new, this workshop creates a supportive space to explore and play.
Through exercises, scene work, and experimentation, you will:

• learn to react naturally in the moment
• connect and collaborate through play

After moving to Poland in 2007, Jim’s life quickly turned into a masterclass in culture shock, confusion, and comedy.
From arriving with a six-month-pregnant wife, to appearing on Mam Talent, almost dying in the Polish mountains, getting divorced during the pandemic, gaining Polish citizenship, and becoming… Ameri-Pean.
An hour of smart, absurd, and unpredictable comedy about life abroad and the strange beauty of trying to belong somewhere new.
