Jokes on the Boat: Stand-Up Comedy in English

LaughPlug Comedy is bringing a fresh Stand Up Comedy Show at Vessel 11, the beautiful red boat in Wijnhaven.

Here you have the chance to watch some of the best comics in the Netherlands performing alongside local talent from Rotterdam!

Our headliner for this edition will be the amazing Dave Thomson!

Dave has performed his stand-up comedy act in forty-nine countries, and several cruise ships. Known for his one-liners and absurd persona, Dave has written material for many other comics, including Harry Hill, Omid Djalili, and Stewart Lee. He's best-known for having been the actor in the Tinky Winky costume in the world famous TV show 'Teletubbies’.

Since 2021 he’s had speaking parts in 'The Munsters', a Hollywood feature film, ’The Last Kingdom’ on Netflix, and three American drama series - ‘The Continental’, 'Fallen', and 'The Pendragon Cycle'. He plays a Royalist officer in the new drama series 'Royal Kill List' (started 12th March, Sky History), and is in Harry Hill's new independent film 'The Last Caveman'.

The night will be hosted by LaughPlug's resident MC, Christos Sougk and will feature performance from Sharon Em, Julian Gypens and Ajay Damodaran!
