WINE & ART – MULTICULTURAL EVENT by FROM DE ROOTS #3

— WHAT —
After the success of the previous editions of the WINE & ART – MULTICULTURAL EVENT by FROM DE ROOTS, we are pleased to announce a new date, 3rd of December at Le Baixu in Tour & Taxis
The initiative lead by the two young entrepreneurs Pedro and Jaume, wants to fusion the power of Art with the sophistication of the Wine from the Iberian Peninsula accompanied by the live music.

— ARTISTS —
We will have the pleasure to receive Joana Domingues from Portugal. Joana has a strong passion for the Arts and Art History. She holds a master's degree and PhD in Conservation & Restoration and recently has started to create art of her own with charcoal and watercolors, being especially talented in anatomy and portrait drawing. You will be able to see some unique musical instruments from all over the world. Thomas Arnett is more than a collector of instruments, he is passionate about discovering new instruments, playing and showing them! He has instrument from Asia, North and South America, Africa, Europe... He loves to show people the diversity and beauty of sound.

We will also have the pleasure to have Metaprosa Cultural Centre present in our event! This is a project that aims to create a meeting place for culture and literature written in Spanish. It is a second-hand bookshop selling books exclusively in Spanish (originals or translations), where cultural activities such as reading clubs, story competitions and talks on different subjects are organised.

— MUSIC —
We will have the pleasure to enjoy live music from The Marzial Art, a recently-formed post-pandemics Italian band, whose musicians come from different previous projects of the Brussels rock scene, such as Tortilla Flat, and all gathered by the gravitational artistic pull of the main singer, Marzia, hence the name. A bit less than one hour of revisited rock covers from blues roots to gothic atmosphere followed by some ambient/ electronic beats by im.pulse and Philippe Desorgues, MAKII and John Gilliot . All day long live music!
