Tallinn Baroque Orchestra, Andrew Lawrence-King & Chamber Choir Utopia: „The Voice of the Turtle“

Time flies – it's been a year since the beginning of the regular collaboration between Andrew Lawrence-King and the Tallinn Baroque Orchestra! Join us for a special concert The Voice of the Turtle on Saturday, March 2nd, at 7 PM in the White Hall of Mustpeade Maja, where we'll be joined by Iris Oja and the Chamber Choir Utopia from Finland, dedicated to early music. By the way, this marks Utopia's first visit to Estonia.

The main protagonist of the evening, however, is none other than Henry Purcell and his Ode Hail! Bright Cecilia. Although our hero departed this world at the age of 35 or 36, precisely on St. Cecilia's Day, he was unquestionably the most famous English composer until the era of The Beatles.
