Women - in an ideal world, we are them, we are birthed by them and we love them. But we don't live in an ideal world, do we?

Clit Comedy Club creators Anshita Koul and Mari Volar sit, stand and dance around the topics of what it's like to take up space in the world, live in a country that isn't yours, why catcalling is annoying but sometimes surprisingly refreshing, what it's like to be surrounded by baby-making machines and how to properly lodge complaints with the Patriarchy.

All this and more in a special 2-women theatrical comedy show.

About the comedians:

Anshita Koul is an Indian born standup comedian, currently living in Germany and touring with her English solo hour Little Too Much. She has performed the show in 12 cities so far. 35, Indian, Queer, Married, Standup comedian and does not want kids - Anshita is a poster child for everything Patriarchy hates. In her solo, Anshita talks about body neutrality, marriage, mental health, her acquired German habits, why she misses her catcallers back home, and her standup debut on the Indian reality TV show Queens of Comedy, among other things personal and political.
She recently also made it to the 'One to Watch' list at Funny Women Awards 2021 and was one of the top 20 comics out of 300+ who participated.

Mari Volar is a Cologne-based comedian, musician and event producer from Estonia. She can often be seen on stage in various cities across Europe, where she performs as an independent comedian, or hosting comedy events with her collective Clit Comedy Club. Mari proudly brings more feminism into her comedy and more comedy into her feminism, creating a over-the-top mix in both that simply cannot be missed. Jess is a British comedian who has been living and working in Luxembourg since 2010. After years of therapy to recover from the terrible jokes she was exposed to growing up in an English pub, she is now turning her experiences of the world of work into comedy gold. In her material Jess explores the meaning of love, work and cake. She also plays the ukulele (badly).
