Heart of the Ocean is a surreal, epic, and tragic sapphic story where supernatural forces and delusional fantasies haunt an oceanic scenery, lingering over an excessive lesbian love. As a lesbian translation of the 1997 film classic Titanic, the musical’s driving force is a kind of eternal love—the ultimate sacrifice for love and beloved—which forms the narrative for this lesbian love story.
