Findlay//Sandsmark: broken (iteration III – for Helsinki)

+ one more

Mad House Helsinki

broken (iteration III – for Helsinki) is a swan song, a funeral song, a last song, a goodbye song. The creation of the work coincided with Findlay//Sandsmark losing their venue RIMI/IMIR SceneKunst in Stavanger, Norway, in 2024. As an artwork, it turned out to serve as a delicate "farewell" piece for stages in general, and the ways in which they can disappear into the ether. In the frame of Moving in November the artist duet shares an iterative version of the work for Mad House Helsinki.
