“Where does the point go when we miss it?” is a piece composed to explore and play with the dynamics of co-existence.

Twelve people, with backgrounds ranging from contemporary dance to lamp restoration, coming together for who knows what reason, to perform in a show that who knows what it is going to be. But we are having fun. And so shall you. Hopefully. But no expectations.

We each carry our own little universe in our pockets; separate worlds meeting, separate paths intertwining, separate beings affecting and being affected.

Mixing layers of set choreography, movement improvisation, chance and tasks, we attempt to create a meeting place, a playground, a collective fantasy.

This piece has not and will not be rehearsed as a whole. Only in performance will all the parts meet and we will be there to witness their unfurling.

For the 3rd year TantsuRUUM is hosting a season-long residency for a group of dance artists. This year's residency will be condensing into and opening sweetly as a celebratory festival.
