HEAT SNAP by Wren Brian

On a scorching day, an artist is sketching a prisoner at sentencing. Across the city a mason is carving a gravestone for an exhibition. An afternoon walk leads the artist to the mason’s door. Complete strangers who are clearly intertwined by…something. Based on the eerie short story “August Heat”.

Play Full Theatre was set up by a collective of theatre makers to produce fun, collaborative, and engaging scratch nights showcasing work created through collaborations between emerging theatre artists based in Scotland. It is run entirely by volunteers. Since it was set up in late 2022, Play Full scratch nights have featured the talents of over 70 emerging writers, directors, dramaturgs and actors.
