Kraków’s Own - Standup Comedy Showcase in English

Join us for a night of laughter and reflection as we showcase some of the best local comedic talent in Krakow! "Krakow’s Own - 2024 Showcase" features seven comedians, each bringing their unique humor to the stage as we recap the highlights of the year. ✨🎄

This special edition includes rising stars who’ve made huge strides in 2024 and veteran comics who have been fan favorites for years. Whether you’ve been with us all year or are new to the scene, this showcase is the perfect way to celebrate the local comedy community.

A little bit about the comics:

Aditya Akolkar: Adi's claim to fame is that he's an Indian with glasses who doesn't work in IT. Relocating from Mumbai to Kraków has been a massive culture shock for him and this is also the main source of his comedy.

Thom Milner: Thom was so shy in school that he couldn't even ask the teacher to go to the toilet, so he just pissed his pants. But now look at him, an International musical comedian superstar!

Damian Skóra: Damian is a guy in his 30s, still adapting to life in Poland. Polish language is difficult for him and cultural norms seem hard to decipher. He was born in 1990 in Poland and living here ever since.

Emre Karakuş: Emre gets really political on stage and he has a good reason... He comes from Türkiye.

Matea Lac: Bislavic teacher, South-Slavic upbringing survivor, Adidas lover. Going to therapy.

Michał Pawłowski: Just an aging fool trying to make people laugh while he can still actually stand up.

Konrad Beerski: Konrad was informed in Canada that he is too polite, and in China that he eats too much rice. He was arrested in Mexico for being an illegal immigrant, and in Russia for being too drunk.

Hosted by Onur Kaptan, the 2023 winner of the Krakow Open Mic Standup Comedy Competition, this show promises an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, surprises, and great vibes. Onur also runs his own monthly open mic shows at TeaTime Brewpub on the second Thursday of each month.
