When the World is Falling Apart: How to Live in an Era of Change

Friday 25. April at 19:00 - 22:00

Podium Mozaïek • Bos en Lommerweg 191, 1055 DT Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands

It seems like change never ends. Crises, uncertainty, instability — we do our best to cope. But why do some people manage to stay afloat, while others feel like they’re sinking?
What happens to us in times of global upheaval? Where does our ability to adapt come from — and what holds it back? Why is it so hard, even when it feels like everything is under control?
And most importantly: how can we help ourselves and our loved ones not only navigate challenges but also find solid ground?

Lyudmila Petranovskaya is a family psychologist and the author of well-known books such as The Secret Support. Attachment in a Child’s Life, When It’s Hard with a Child, Selfmama: Life Hacks for Working Moms, and others. She has been working with foster families for many years, providing parental counseling and conducting seminars for professionals.

After the lecture, there will be a Q&A session. You will also have the opportunity to purchase and sign the author’s books.

The event will be held in Russian in the Podium Mozaïek hall at Bos en Lommerweg 191.
Doors open at 6:30 PM.
