On this event, we will be speaking to Felicity Jefferis-Boyd (Flic), FD at ABTA

Flic didn’t start with a finance career in mind. After reaching her mid-twenties with no real life plans, she applied for a graduate role at Deloitte. A few years post-qualification and now with a young family, Flic left Deloitte to pursue a not-for-profit route, mistakenly thinking it would provide "an easier life closer to home." Instead, she found a stimulating and rewarding challenge.

Flic found herself in the deep end of an organisation needing significant modernisation and a rapid turnaround of financial performance. The early Board exposure and freedom to develop at pace led Flic to realise she was much more capable than she and others had initially thought. After some shorter-term roles to develop her skillset, she is now the Finance Director at ABTA, The Travel Association.

Flic is passionate about the benefits the not-for-profit sector can bring. Her approach centre's on data-driven decisions and developing people, which is at the heart of her vision for running a professional and modern finance service for both internal and external stakeholders.
