Koidula Muuseum, Pärnu
The permanent exhibition of Koidula Museum tells the life story of Lydia Koidula (1843–1886), who was a famous poetess and publicist during the national awakening of Estonia who spent her youth in Pärnu.
Koidula Museum is located in the house where she lived from 1850 to 1863. It is known as Pärnu Ülejõe Schoolhouse where her father J.V. Jannsen, who is also known as the father of journalism in the Estonian language, worked at the time as the schoolmaster.

The charming yellow wooden house and its enchanting garden are imbued with the spirit of the 19th-century national awakening.
