Pola Ivanka: What Now, Lea? is Pola Ivanka and Iiro Ollila's new, emotional and delightfully honest cabaret about life's turning points. The show dives into the questions of middle age – where everyday life, dreams and hormones meet – with a twinkle in the corner of the eye and an open heart.
During the evening, beloved Lea Laven hits, such as Tumma nainen and Ei oo, ei tuu, will be heard in boldly reborn, sparkling interpretations. These songs are not just nostalgia, but full of life wisdom, comfort and strength.
Pola Ivanka shines on stage, behind whom is performer Mika Tepsa – a singer, actor and drag artist whose expression combines sensitivity, experience and self-deprecating humor. The music is by Iiro Ollila, whose fresh and surprising arrangements bring a new, electric tone to the classics.
This cabaret doesn't bow to youth – it celebrates life here and now. When the body reminds you of its existence, memory plays tricks and the mirror image surprises… but inside there is still a spark.
