Looking for your next entrepreneurial challenge? What if you could join a team that already has the scientific expertise and a promising technology, but needs someone like you to turn it into a successful business?
Join us for the DeepTech Co-founder Meetup, where six research and technology teams will pitch their ideas to meet experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals interested in becoming co-founders.
Great deeptech companies need more than groundbreaking technology. They need people who understand business development, strategy, sales, investment and what it takes to bring a product to market.
If you have business experience, an entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to build something of your own, this is an opportunity to discover your next venture without having to start with a scientific idea or technical team of your own.
The event will kick off with an introduction by Anu Puusaag, followed by pitches from six deeptech teams developing innovative technologies and looking for business co-founders. After the pitches, participants will have the opportunity to meet individually with the teams they are most interested in. These one-to-one meetings can be selected in advance during event registration.
Meet the teams!
Bindomics
Bindomics is developing tools and technology that can be used for laboratory screening, validation and in-depth characterization of bioactive compounds, especially novel drug candidates.
They are looking for solution-oriented co-founders who could even contribute with in-depth personal experience from pharma and drug development industry or with financial and funding know-how or angel inversor experience.
CelluMotion
CelluMotion develops 100% plant-based stain repellent coating material to replace outdated and harmful coatings. The product is a cellulose fatty acid ester produced from wood cellulose and plant oil by reactive extrusion method. They can produce novel coating materials to meet your needs, which can be supplied as a film, suspension or powder.
Looking for a co-founder with international experience and a strong network, as well as knowledge and expertise in the textile industry.
Enkonzo
Enkozo develops novel deodorants that target odor-causing bacteria using species-specific enzymes called endolysins. These bacteriophage-derived entities are safe for users, environmentally friendly and there is no record of resistance development in the target bacteria.
Looking for a business oriented co-founder, with a strong background in marketing and/or cosmetic industry.
Perihelion

Their approach incorporates recycled tungsten carbide and explores compositions using smaller amounts of critical raw materials. They aim to combine wear resistance and competitive tooling costs with more efficient use of resources. The project is currently at an early laboratory development stage, guided by feedback from machining companies and cutting-tool suppliers.
They are looking for a business-oriented co-founder who has experience in B2B business development, industrial sales, or technology commercialization.
