Wolves, bison, wild horses, wild boar all used to roam the UK. Humans drove them extinct. The space they left behind was filled by the commoners gathering firewood and grazing cattle. Now weekly conservation volunteers clear scrub to preserve our meadows, moorlands and heathlands. So what happens when the animals come back?
Enclosure dives head first into these tangled ecologies, that span centuries and species, age, class, and nationality, asking what does ‘place’ mean in the 21st Century? What is wildness?

Enclosure is an original play written by Jamie Walker and produced by Mostly Moss Productions. Enclosure features strong language and themes of moderate violence - parental guidance is advised. For specific content warnings please contact [email protected].

This is an outdoor production, so it is advised to dress appropriately for the weather on the day. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, tickets will be automatically transferred to the next available date.
