Tamara Nathanovna Eidelman, a historian, lecturer, writer, educator, and popular YouTuber with an audience of over 1 million subscribers, will give a lecture on the topic of "How Propaganda Works" in Palo Alto on April 18th.

In different historical periods, similar methods were used to manipulate the minds of thousands and millions of people. Although propaganda today has more powerful technical means, how did millions of people suddenly believe those crazy and cruel things they were told? Perhaps propaganda found those weak points that make people vulnerable. In her lecture, Eidelman will try to find answers to these questions, explore the history and mechanisms of propaganda, and discuss ways to protect oneself from its influence.

The lecture will be delivered in Russian.

The 'How Propaganda Works' lecture will take place in Washington on April 18th at 7:00 PM in the Oshman Family JCC.

Address: 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto, CA 94303.
