Join us for an Eid ul-Fitr Celebration with the Recital of the Qasidah Burdah in the company of our blessed teachers and your fellow sisters in the community.

Explore our Eid Fayre with various stalls for you to buy sweet treats, gifts and so much more, all in support of the Rawdah Madrassah.

Ustadha Badriya
Born in the blessed land of Syria, Ustadha Badriya began her early studies in her native city of Damascus. In pursuit of knowledge, she has studied in various Middle Eastern countries with many luminaries including Shaykh AhmedSirajuddin, son of the late gnostic Shaykh Abdallah Sirajuddin Al Hussayni (rahimullah).

Ustadha teaches Figh, Aqeeda and Seerah as well as poems in praise of the beloved Prophet may peace and blessings be upon Him. She has had the opportunity to teach at the annual Dowra in Tarim (Yemen), under the auspicious guidance of al-Habib Umar bin Hafiz.

She is settled in Birmingham with her family, carrying out many dawah projects in her community and nationally.

Ustadha Rummana
Ustadha Rummana initiated her Aalimiyya Dars at the age of sixteen. Endeavouring through the traditional sciences under the prestigious tutelege of the eminent Shaykh Riyadh and Shaykh Naveed Jameel ash-Shaami, she prosperously graduated from Mohiuddin Girls College, Burnley, UK.

Subsequently, Ustadha progressed to further studies under the guidance of the renowned and authoritative Mufti Ashfaq Ahmed Ridawi (May Allah grant them Jannah) at Sayyida Khadija Institute, Nottingham, UK.

In 2018 Ustadha travelled to Tarīm in Yemen to the famous Dar al-Zahra which is a school founded by the great Habib Umar bin al-Hafiz. She is based in Bradford, teaches and runs Dar al-Rahman Academy.

Ustadha Maryam
Ustadha Maryam completed a BSc in Speech Sciences at UCL and worked as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, specialising in early years diagnostics.

After two years at the Micro Madrasah Ustadha Maryam moved to Cairo for over three years where she studied Arabic Language, Hanafi Fiqh and Tajwid.

She then travelled to Tarim, Yemen and enrolled at the prestigious Dar al Zahra institute for women set up by Sayyid Habib Umar bin Hafidh. There she studied Arabic, Seerah, Tafsir and Hadith. She also undertook additional classes, studying with various female scholars of Tarim, among them Hubaba Ayshoon, the daughter of the late Mufti of Tarim (Al Habib Ali al Mash’ur), Ustadha Zaynab al Khatib, Ustadha Muneeba (Principle of Dar al Zahra).

After studying in Tarim for five years, she moved back to the UK. She currently resides in Bradford with her husband and works as a teacher at the Rawdah Madrasah, Mustafa Mount. She also teaches classes in her local community and continues her work as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist.

Ustadha Dr Umm Fatimah (Asiya)
Ustadha Dr Umm Fatimah, professionally a dentist, studied at the Micro Madrasa, whilst also studying Arabic Grammar and Coversational Arabic. She then travelled to Tarim, Yemen where she studied at the prestigious Dar Al Zahra, studying Arabic, Fiqh, Seerah, Tafsir, and Hadith.

She is a teacher of daff and qa'said, including the Qasida Burda for over 10 years both in the blessed city of Tarim and in the UK to adults and children.

Since her return to the UK she has continued to teach and lead gatherings of sacred poetry and music in order to spread love of the Messenger of Allāh ‎ﷺ
