Alexandra is the daughter of Lord Shackleton and granddaughter of Ernest Shackleton. She travels all over the world describing her grandfather's legacy, with unique insights into the greatest story of Antarctic survival of all time. Alexandra herself has visited the Antarctic four times and together with her cousin is now the legal owner of Shackleton's ship 'The Endurance', which was found recently in the Weddell Sea off the coast of Newfoundland having been crushed by the ice and sank on his 1915 expedition. This is the story of determination, survival, leadership and indeed, endurance. A truly heroic and unparalleled achievement and we are honoured to hear all about it from his only granddaughter.
