Lynda La Plante is best known as the writer behind
TV’s Prime Suspect, Widows and The Governor. This
will be an exceptional afternoon of Lynda recounting
her many other careers with her usual wit and style,
from training at RADA, to becoming an actor on
stage and screen, treading the boards in musical
comedy, and then best selling crime writer creating
over 30 best selling crime novels and running her own
award-winning production company. Her recently
published memoir ‘Getting Away With Murder’ is
full of hilarious and surprising stories and will show
us exactly how shedunnit! Lynda, also the steadfast
researcher, will be giving us a peak at her latest crime
novel introducing a new series and lead in the form
of CSI and forensic specialist Jessica Russell, facing
her first challenge as a new department’s team leader.
An afternoon not to be missed! There will also be a
