Vollmond Orchestra (GER) in Tallinn

Vollmondorchester is a musician's collective from Leipzig/Germany. Their music is inspired by some rare funk and jazz style, afrobeat, ska, and dub styles. While playing tunes from Thelonious Monk, Mulatu Astatke, or Fela Kuti, the band uses different experiences and styles of the individual players and makes this music their own. Though improvisation and modulation are the main part of this music, the „Vollmondorchester“ always keeps it groovy and danceable.
