From Warrensburg, Missouri, the University of Central Missouri (UCM) Concert Choir is the institution’s advanced choral ensemble, frequently performing at regional, national, and international venues. Recent completed invitations include the Xi'an International Choral Festival in Xi'an, China, Carnegie Hall in New York City, and the Missouri Music Educators Association Convention. On campus, the Concert Choir presents several performances each semester, including a choral masterwork annually. Concert Choir is open to all UCM students by audition, and the students represent a vast array of Undergraduate and Graduate majors offered by the University from Aviation, Mathematics, and of course, Music (Performance, Education, and Technology.)

The UCM Concert Choir is so excited to present four diverse programs in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, and to learn about the rich choral tradition of the region along the way. The choir is always eager to perform diverse musical programs of many languages, cultures, mediums, and styles represented throughout the year. Champions of new music, the singers have been instrumental in bringing brand new compositions to life, namely participating in a research study on the pedagogy of minimalist vocal techniques and the performance of a large avant-garde composition with live electronics, composed by Music Technology professor, Dr. Jeff Kaiser.

Free entrance.
