This autumn, the TYPA centre is once again inviting everyone to its autumn workshop sessions! If you’ve been interested in the workshops we offer, now’s your chance to take part. Over four Sundays, we’ve got a programme featuring both new and tried-and-tested workshops – all you need to do is buy a ticket to take part!
We’ll kick off our series of workshop sessions with a cyanotype workshop on 27 September. Although World Cyanotype Day is actually on 26 September, we’ll be celebrating it the following day as well. Cyanotype or sunprinting is one of the oldest photographic processes, used in the 19th century to produce the first photographic book illustrations. In the workshop, we will develop dried plants, drawings and photographic negatives onto paper. Weather permitting, we will develop our prints and photographs in the sunshine at the Kastani community garden behind TYPA.
