From a small town in America to a Berlin apartment with a German wife and a very needy dog, this is a personal, punchy show about getting lost — literally and emotionally — in a new country. No German, no volume control, no national pride.

Pat Moore digs into the strange, funny and occasionally humiliating business of being an American trying to adapt to life in Germany. Cross-cultural relationships. Bureaucracy. The textile-free wellness centre. Dog-related trauma.

About the comedian

Pat Moore is an American stand-up comedian based in Berlin. His previous solo show, MAMAS' BOY ~ Lesbian Son Comedy Hour, toured 28 European cities. He's an alumnus of the San Francisco Comedy Competition, a finalist of the Berlin New Standup Awards, and has performed for Don't Tell Comedy.

His comedy is storytelling-forward, self-deprecating, and deeply confused — just like he is. He lives in Berlin with his German wife and a suspiciously photogenic dog.
