Online ticket sales has ended.

On March 30th at 3:00 PM in Budva, an astronomer, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, and the author of the "Unearthly Podcast," Vladimir Surdin, will give a lecture for children and adults on the topic "A Star Called the Sun."

The Sun is the only star that astronomers can study in detail. They diligently do so because our lives depend on the Sun. How did the Sun and the Solar System form and evolve? What is our star made of, and how have astronomers peered into its depths? Does solar activity pose a threat to Earth? Will the Sun shine forever, and will it eventually engulf our Earth? All of these questions will be addressed in Vladimir Surdin's lecture.

Vladimir Surdin is an astronomer, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor at the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University, senior researcher at the Sternberg Astronomical Institute, a science popularizer, and the author and editor of several dozen popular science books on astronomy and astrophysics. He is the laureate of the Belyaev Prize and the "Enlightener" Prize.

The lecture will take place in Budva on March 30th at 3:00 PM at the itbranch.house coworking space, located at bb Mediteranska.
