SANNA! 2026 Open Saunas – Alliku Farm Smoke Sauna: A Sauna of Presence for Women

On Saturday, 10 October, the hostess of Alliku farm will heat a Seto-style smoke sauna for women in Puspuri village.
For the hostess, the sauna experience is meaningful as a whole — from heating the sauna to the final cooling down. So she's inviting five women to join her: to heat the sauna together, prepare it, and sauna together.
For her, the most important quality of a sauna is presence — and it's that space of presence she's sharing with the women who join her.
This is her great-grandfather's farm, brought here from Setomaa, and it sits essentially at the end of a forest road.
Alongside heating the sauna, there will be a campfire, cocoa and tea, and quite possibly some ancient, primal feminine practices. In presence, we'll sense together what the sauna wants to happen within it — and we'll let it happen.
Bring your own sauna sheet, and dress for the weather with suitable clothing and footwear — we'll spend much of the day outdoors. Wool socks are recommended.
You can join the heating from 14.00 onward; we'll finish up roughly around 19.00–20.00. The hostess speaks Estonian and English.
