Join us at The Comedy Room for the best English comedy Amsterdam has to offer!

About this event
The world is weird. People walk too slow, emails are passive-aggressive, and an American is blocking the bike lane. You could scream into the void… or you could come to The Comedy Room, give yourself a break.

Every Tuesday and Sunday, we turn ordinary nights into a reset button. Comedy is a form of self care - a couple of hours, a few drinks, and a room full of people all here for the same reason: to laugh, let go, and feel human again.

Regular Comedians
Luana Matei a Romanian comedian who spent 12 years in Tokyo before getting "trapped" in Amsterdam during lockdown. Her dark and insightful humor covers everything from family therapy to the art of cheating, making audiences laugh while rethinking their life choices. With over 250 shows across Europe, Luana's comedy is a candid exploration of life's messiest moments.

Rogier Bak the Amsterdam-born comedian who worked so hard to sound American, you'd never guess he's Dutch. After spending his formative years in the U.S., he now feels like a foreigner in his own country. Rogier's satirical comedy videos have gone ridiculously viral on TikTok, often sparking debates about Dutch and American cultures.

Diederik Zuurmond a British-born comedian with a Dutch name, blending dark and surreal humor to tackle life's absurdities. Winner of the 2023 English Comedy Talent Award, Diederik's sharp wit and dynamic stage presence have been taking Europe by storm.

Daniel Yazbek a South African-born comedian whose raw, intense humor transforms personal stories into sharp, darkly funny observations. Since diving into full-time comedy, he's shared stages with heavyweights like TJ Miller and Sam Tallent.

Sjoerd Scott the only Sjoerd who's not Dutch! This young comedian is quickly taking over stages across the Netherlands with his fresh and friendly style of comedy that catches you off-guard with his vivid demeanor and dry wit.

Georges Degoumois a Swiss comedian based in Amsterdam, known for his witty humor and distinctive laugh. When he's not performing in Amsterdam, Georges is likely traveling and sharing his comedic adventures online.

Can I get a refund?
Refunds are not offered for €2 reservation tickets. For priority tickets, refunds are offered up to 7 days before the show. Alternatively, you can transfer your priority ticket to another date in the event that you are unable to attend the show you purchased tickets for.

Who's on the line up?
We do our best to book ahead and share who is on our shows. However, plans change, people get sick, so our line ups may change without notice.

I didn't like a joke! Can I get my money back?
No, simple as that. Comedy is inherently subjective, and we offer a safe space for our comedians to joke about whatever topic they choose. We do not offer refunds based on personal preference.

Is there food available at the bar?
No, but you are allowed to bring your own if you really want to. Please don't bring smelly foods or full 5-course meals into the show, there's plenty of room in the bar to enjoy your dinner.

Can I bring the kids along?
No thank you! We kindly request you leave any kids under the age of 16 at home.
