TIF26 - Risography workshop: Seeing in Layers with Robin Ellis
Friday 25. September at 11:00 - 14:00
Kogo galerii, Tartu
As a tradition of the festival, TIF is excited to bring back our popular risography workshops. We’re excited to have not one, not two, but THREE risography-related events in our programme! This mixed media workshop is led by artist and printmaker Robin Ellis.
Seeing in Layers is a workshop that combines photography and analogue mark-making with Risographic printing. Using thermal-print cameras, the workshop participants will hit the streets, take photos of the surrounding area, and then combine the photos with hand-drawn elements which will be printed as two-colour Risoprints. Previous experience in risography is not necessary but a willingness to take risks and an enquiring mind are a plus. By the end of the workshop, each participant will create a small edition of A4 two-colour Risograph prints to take home.
The workshop will be led in English.
