🚌📚 What will you learn?
Freeze is a classic, played worldwide at almost every short-form-focused improv show. It is often the first game people see in improv.
But what is it actually about?
How to play Freeze well?
What works and what doesn’t?
How to have more fun with it?
In this workshop, we will take a closer look at Freeze. We are going to play some rounds, discuss what we liked and what we didn’t, apply the findings and repeat! The goal: make Freeze as fun as it can be!
🚌🧑🏫 Who your teacher is?
This workshop is led by Bartek, the mental powerhouse of Omnibus. He is the tallest improviser in Kraków and one with the sharpest wit we know. Bart also emcees burlesque theatre. He is an IT and gaming nerd, Broadway geek, and an actual theatre kid (his parents are both performers!)
🎚️ Workshop level
This workshop is meant for people who already know what improv is and want to get a deeper understanding of how to deconstruct and analyze Freeze, but prior experience is not required. The goal is to get a closer look at Freeze and give yourself a chance to rediscover this game. This workshop is meant to be fun for performers of all levels, so beginners welcome.
