Don’t miss the chance to visit the casemates of the Victoria Bastion for just 1 euro!
From August 14 to 16, as part of Open Narva Days, you’ll be able to see for yourself the underground passages inside the Victoria Bastion, built in the late 17th century.
During the tour, you’ll learn who built the bastions and casemates and how they were constructed, how battles were fought there, and how people took shelter inside the bastion walls during World War II.
The temperature in the bastion casemates is 15° C in the summer, so be sure to bring warm clothes. A blanket is also provided for visitors during the tour.
Children under the age of 5 are not recommended to visit the casemates.
It is also not recommended to visit the casemates for people who have a fear of enclosed spaces, have limited mobility or have vestibular apparatus disorders or dizziness.
