Nordic Frames: Weirdly Working - Lapinlahti Film Festival 2026

Working through weird encounters and atmospheres in workplace settings. Con artists, telemarketers and the tired ones keeping up appearances to make a living.

Lapinlahti Film Festival's Nordic Frames program brings new short films from all over the Nordics to Helsinki.

Office smells, heavy breathers, and meaningless greetings follow her from one workplace to another. Through archival material and amateur video footage, the narrative reflects X’s actions as a faceless subject playing with her voice as a commercialised asset.

The auditorium is dark and air-conditioned, so it can feel quite cool. Please bring warm clothing, hearing protection if needed, and stay hydrated – a reusable water bottle is an excellent companion.
