Mix & Match Tape Ball Cricket: fun, friendly, indoor cricket through the winter months
Tape ball cricket is a popular, informal version of cricket played with a tennis ball tightly wrapped in electrical tape, originating in Karachi, Pakistan, allowing for enjoyable games anywhere without expensive gear.
We’re taking this indoors for a short series this winter in collaboration with Somerset Cricket Foundation.
Our Mix & Match approach means we take care of everything, including venue hire, equipment, and mixing up teams from available players. You just need to book online and turn up.
Whether you grew up playing on the streets of Pakistan or have never picked up a bat, these sessions are a space for Bristol’s diverse communities to come together, share a laugh, and enjoy the game in a relaxed, inclusive environment.
An inclusive pricing model
In partnership with the Somerset Cricket Foundation, we are committed to making the game inclusive. As part of our joint mission to grow cricket within underserved and ethnically diverse communities, these tapeball sessions are available free for:
1. Members of ethnically diverse communities.
2. Anyone for whom cost is a barrier to playing.
If this applies to you, please use the code "SCF-COMMUNITY" when completing the booking process.
