Koncertā satiksies starptautiski atzīti un daudzsološi mūziķi – Tomass Voss (Austrālija), Mišels Taunmans (Nīderlande), Odisejs Deliss (Grieķija) un Valters Ņevzorovs (Latvija), kuri kopā ar ritma grupu – Marku Markusu Ābelīti (bungas), Beatu Mačtamu (klavieres) un Mariju Rebčinskaju (kontrabass/elektriskais bass) – piedāvās aizraujošu programmu, kurā skanēs pašu komponēta mūzika un oriģinālaranžējumi.
Programmā dzirdēsiet plašu džeza spektru – no svinga ēras pirmsākumiem līdz mūsdienu džezam ar improvizāciju un dažādām trombona skanējuma krāsām. Šī būs reta iespēja vienā koncertā dzirdēt tik daudz augsta līmeņa trombonistu, kuri aktīvi darbojas Eiropas un Austrālijas džeza vidē, muzicējot tādos kolektīvos kā Metropole Orkest, Concertgebouw Jazz Orchestra un citos starptautiskos projektos.

What happens when four outstanding trombonists from Australia, Greece, the Netherlands, and Latvia come together on one stage? Trombone Madness—an evening dedicated to the versatility, energy, and contemporary jazz sounds of the trombone.
The concert will feature internationally recognized and promising musicians—Thomas Voss (Australia), Michel Townman (the Netherlands), Odysseas Deliss (Greece), and Valters Ņevzorovs (Latvia), who, together with the rhythm section—Markus Abelitis (drums), Beata Mačtama (piano), and Marija Rebčinskaja (double bass/electric bass)—will present an exciting program featuring their own compositions and original arrangements.
The program will cover a wide spectrum of jazz—from the early days of the swing era to contemporary jazz, featuring improvisation and a variety of trombone timbres. This will be a rare opportunity to hear so many high-caliber trombonists in a single concert—all of whom are active in the European and Australian jazz scenes, performing with ensembles such as the Metropole Orkest, the Concertgebouw Jazz Orchestra, and other international projects.
