Piektdien, 11. septembrī M/House of Jazz viesosies norvēģu saksofonistes un komponistes Marthe Lea kvintets.
Marthe Lea mūzikā savijas Ziemeļvalstu džezs, folkmūzika, brīva improvizācija un ekspresīvs, dzīvs skanējums. Viņa sadarbojusies ar Bugge Wesseltoft’s New Conception of Jazz, Ayumi Tanaka, Thomas Strønen un citiem ievērojamiem Eiropas mūziķiem.
Grupas jaunākais albums “Herlighetens Vei” izceļas ar juteklisku, garīgu un brīvu pieeju mūzikai un tika iekļauts arī Europe Jazz Network Media Chart.

On Friday, September 11, the quintet led by Norwegian saxophonist and composer Marthe Lea will perform at M/House of Jazz.
Marthe Lea’s music blends Nordic jazz, folk music, free improvisation, and an expressive, lively sound. She has collaborated with Bugge Wesseltoft’s New Conception of Jazz, Ayumi Tanaka, Thomas Strønen, and other notable European musicians.
The group’s latest album, “Herlighetens Vei”, stands out for its sensual, spiritual, and free approach to music and was also featured on the Europe Jazz Network Media Chart.
