Šajā BROOKLYN JAZZ koncertā uzmanības centrā būs bebop — viens no nozīmīgākajiem modernā džeza attīstības posmiem, kas 1940. gados mainīja priekšstatu par improvizāciju, harmoniju un ritmu.
Programmā Toms Poišs pievērsīsies bebop valodai no mūsdienu skatpunkta, savienojot tās raksturīgo harmonisko spriegumu un brīvo improvizāciju ar elektronikas elementiem. Rezultātā klasiskā bebop estētika iegūs jaunu, laikmetīgu skanējumu.

This BROOKLYN JAZZ concert will focus on bebop—one of the most significant stages in the development of modern jazz, which transformed perceptions of improvisation, harmony, and rhythm in the 1940s.
In this program, Toms Poišs will explore the language of bebop from a contemporary perspective, combining its characteristic harmonic tension and free improvisation with elements of electronic music. As a result, the classic bebop aesthetic will take on a new, contemporary sound.
