On Sunday, October 6th at 2pm, Latvian artist Linda Vilka will lead a special workshop titled "We Really Are Allowed to Get Tired," which is part of the 9th Tallinn Applied Art Triennial main exhibition The Fine Lines of Constructiveness at Kai Art Center.
Vilka’s work explores the mental and physical states associated with fatigue, encouraging participants to acknowledge, accept, and find creative ways to cope with tiredness. The workshop’s goal is to approach fatigue through artistic self-expression, empowering participants through the process of making art.
The workshop is open to everyone – no prior artistic experience is needed. Participants will contribute to the creation of a large collaborative artwork by working with small adhesive stones, with each person adding a unique piece to the collective work. It’s a rare opportunity to take part in a shared artistic project and experience the creative process firsthand.
The workshop is suitable for both adults and children, offering a wonderful way for families to spend time together and engage in an inspiring creative activity.
To secure your spot we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Participation requires a general exhibition ticket, plus a €5 workshop fee.
