How can the fragile, often invisible experience of male vulnerability be exposed and explored through performance?

I want to engage in a creative dialogue with my own conditioned masculinity. I want to deconstruct it, and reassemble it on stage - making something visceral, experiential by interrogating the scripts I’ve inherited: the stoicism, the suppression, the performative strength. What does it mean to choose vulnerability when it has so often been denied me in moments of crisis? How do I reclaim it as power?

This is not a confession. It is confrontation. An excavation of the body as a site of contradiction and crisis - where tenderness and violence, silence and scream, coexist.

Edward Skaines is an Australian actor, performer, and devised physical theatre maker. Drawing from a diverse training background at The Actors Centre Australia, Beverly Hills Playhouse, École Philippe Gaulier, and ATTIS Theatre, Edward brings a unique approach to his work, blending dynamic movement with inventive expression across film, television, and live performance.
His theatre practice emphasises physicality, clowning, and movement-based storytelling, allowing him to push the boundaries of traditional performance. With a deep interest in exploring human relationships, Edward’s creative focus lies in communicating complex ideas and emotions through the power of movement and physical expression within spoken frameworks.

A quiet ritual for the E…
Where masks slip
and somewhere behind a glowing screen,
a reflection waits to be seen.
This is an invitation to step into the in-between,
to meet yourself in ways you usually avoid.
In a world where the internet promises connection,
she ventures deep into the digital forest
to find and lose herself.
A journey beneath the surface.
A tea party with your inner ghosts.
A quiet rebellion against disappearing.
Inspired by Alice’s Adventures Under Ground (1864),
this is a Wonderland of the Now -
set not in a forest,
but in a black box,
on webcams,
among masked faces.
The white rabbit led her in,
the black one walked beside her.
She shed what no longer held,
until even silence
felt like light.
And in that light,
she Began Again.

Maarja Tosin (1998) is an Estonian performance artist fascinated by transformation, spirituality, art, mythology, and true stories. Her work blends dance, physical theatre, and visual poetry, often hiding layers of meaning for the audience to uncover later. For her, art is a bridge - a meeting place between Oneself, Others, and the Unknown.

Jaanus Odras (1995) is an interdisciplinary artist whose main focus lies in creating site-specific installations and scenography. He has created over several dozen installations, including works for various events and festivals. His artistic practice often incorporates reused and repurposed materials.

Imagine stepping into a space where your identity is instantly redefined. You are categorised, not by name or face, but by colour and your seating. Each hue whispering tales of privilege. Here, you are more than an audience; you are an integral, living component of the narrative. At the heart of this unfolding experience, observe a lone figure, confined within a box, navigating through a series of increasingly surreal and unsettling encounters.
Colour Colour Which Colour Do You Choose is an immersive physical theatre production that confronts the deeply engrained societal hierarchies we are born into, translating this universal human experience into the primal language of color.

Jeson Joy is a contemporary physical performance maker with a strong background in theatre and Indian contemporary dance. He is currently pursuing his MA in Physical Performance Making at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He focuses on experimental practice, challenging artistic norms to develop a unique artistic vision. The prospect of exploring the realm of physical and movement theatre excites him greatly. He has always been drawn to the power of art, which not only entertains but also provokes thought, invites dialogue, and celebrates the richness and complexity of human experience.

Conceived as a visceral descent into the layers of our endangered species in denial of its nature, this solo unfolds through a series of cathartic musical Stations.

The audience is invited into an immersive circle, gradually shaped like a giant eye

• an organ of vision turned inward.

At its core stands a voodoo child - curious about human fragilities,
tracing a path from station to station, asking :
where have the repressed parts of our humanity taken refuge?
This solo work emerges in a world haunted by what Agamben calls the destruction of experience - the impossibility of transmitting, receiving, or even recognising human experience within systems that fragment the self and disembody meaning.

Clarisse Degeneffe was born under the black sun of Belgium, where she began her path as an interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of ritual performance, visual landscapes, and sonic pieces.

She later pursued studies in Art History and Philosophy at Panthéon in Paris, where she deepened her understanding of visual cultures, aesthetic theory, and the metaphysical foundations of image-making.

Drawn to animist philosophies and contemporary art practices, she is currently enrolled in the CPPM program in Tallinn, where she sharpens her perceptual sensitivity and explores performance as a space of transformation; a space where sound, gesture, and matter can become tools to access what is repressed, fractured… or simply in transit.
