The interactive piano recital: The audience sets the scene, Artem improvises.

Summer is just around the corner and before we head into our summer break, a very special, interactive concert with Artem Yasynskyy will take place on June 27th.

This evening breaks the usual rules of a classical piano concert. You never know exactly what will happen in advance, because it will be a completely unique improvisation recital where you can actively shape the evening. Artem invites the audience to share musical ideas, suggest themes, or even bring your own sheet music, which he will then spontaneously integrate into his performance. Every single moment of this evening will be absolutely unique, created live in the room together with you.

About the artist: Artem Yasynskyy is a deeply fascinating musician who bridges the gap between classical mastery and absolute creative freedom. Born into a musical family in Donetsk, Ukraine, he has proven his exceptional pianism on the great stages of the world, winning top prizes at prestigious competitions such as Honens and Gina Bachauer, and releasing acclaimed solo recordings for the Naxos label. Today, he passes on his profound knowledge as a piano professor at the University of the Arts in Bremen, as well as at leading institutions in Italy.

Yet, what makes Artem truly stand out in the classical music world is what he does beyond the written score. His greatest passion is the art of live improvisation. He uses his deep understanding of classical piano literature to spontaneously create complex, deeply moving musical landscapes out of thin air. Through his unparalleled way of connecting with the audience, he creates moments that have never been heard before, and will never be heard again.
