KIRTAN: practice of chanting mantras and meditation.
Saturday 2. May at 19:00 - 21:00
Tatari 64, 5th floor, room 521
Kirtan is a gentle, meditative spiritual practice rooted in tradition. It unfolds through a simple call-and-response format, where a leader sings and the group answers, repeating mantras or sacred names.
This repetition is believed to awaken bhakti — a deep, heartfelt sense of love and devotion. In India, kirtan is highly valued as a path that is open and accessible to everyone, especially in today’s fast-paced world. It can be experienced in many forms, in temples, gatherings, and informal spaces alike.
Participation is donation-based 🙏
You can choose any amount you’d like to donate; however, a default amount of €10 is set.
Facilitator: Irina Laidinen — certified sound therapist (British Academy of Sound Therapy), vocalist, researcher of Vedic chanting, and founder of a sound therapy and yoga studio in Tallinn.
