Kaschalot is a Tallinn-based instrumental math/post-rock quartet delivering explosive music with raw live intensity. Formed in 2014, the band has developed a distinct identity built on intricate guitar interplay, rhythmic precision and emotionally driven dynamics, establishing a strong live presence across the Baltic alternative scene.

Across three releases, Kaschalot has evolved into a dedicated touring act known for tight musicianship and immersive performances. Their concerts balance technical complexity with physical impact, translating layered compositions into high-energy live experiences that resonate equally in club settings and on festival stages.

Their latest album, Anemoia (2025), marks the band’s heaviest and most focused work to date. Written over three years of artistic growth, the record pushes towards a more direct and immediate sound while retaining the melodic depth and structural detail that define Kaschalot's style. With the release of Anemoia, the band has embarked on an expanded touring cycle across Northern and Eastern Europe.

With a growing catalogue and a refined live show, Kaschalot continues to establish itself as one of the Baltic region’s most distinctive instrumental acts.
