The territorial roast battle format that's sold out Just For Laughs, The Comedy Store LA, and Tokyo Comedy Bar makes its Osaka debut.
The concept is simple: jokes are their weapons, history and culture is their ammo, and the stage is their warzone. Two comedians square off representing their city, country, or neighbourhood — and the crowd decides who wins.
On the card: Dylan Lamb, Jay Yamaki (World Roast Battle Champion), Chris Natsuume, roast newcomer Kyosuke Nomura, and several more local acts from Kansai Comedy. The show opens and closes with stand-up, with roast battles at its heart.

Kansai Comedy is bringing two of Tokyo's best straight to Shinsaibashi for one night only.
Headlining the show are Jay Yamaki and Chris Natsuume — both regulars on Tokyo's English comedy circuit, both bringing full sets built from years on stage.
Jay is a World Roast Battle Champion who paid his dues in some unusual ways on the way there — including a stint proofreading porn comics. Expect something sharp and fast.
Chris has spent 25 years in Japan developing a long list of questionable takes on language, culture, his prostate, and panda sex — and somehow makes every single one of them funny. If you've got an HR department, leave them at home.
Joining them on the night will be Kansai Comedy regulars, rounding out a lineup that's bigger, sharper, and louder than our usual nights at Absinthe Underground.
This is also the second show of our Osaka double-header — straight after the 7pm Roast Battle, same venue. Grab the Full Night Pass if you want to catch both.
