The Ajaton Quartet is celebrating its ten-year anniversary by performing both old hits and previews from their third album, set to be released next year – without forgetting Christmas.
Quartet Ajaton is an ensemble founded by Mia Simanainen, where highly innovative musicians, blessed with diverse backgrounds, weave their talents together. The result is music that is nothing short of unique – there are familiar soft tones, but one should remain alert, as the listener may occasionally encounter completely unfamiliar taste experiences. The quartet has followed its own path from the beginning, slightly evolving over time, touring not only in Finland but also across Europe, and releasing two richly satisfying albums.
