Two acclaimed and award-winning Finnish jazz musicians come together in a rare saxophone–drums duo. Saxophonist Pauli Lyytinen won the 2024 Jazz Emma Award for his album Lehto / Korpi, while drummer Markku Ounaskari has received both the Emma Award for Jazz Album of the Year in 2010 and the Finnish Jazz Federation’s Yrjö Award in 2014. Their long careers have taken them to countless stages across Europe, Asia and the Americas – now they join forces for a mysterious, captivating and timeless sonic journey.
