This BROOKLYN JAZZ concert will focus on Paul Motian, one of the most significant drummers and composers in the history of modern jazz. His playing was a breathing, free, and deeply musical dialogue with the other members of the ensemble.

The name Paul Motian is associated with a distinctive trio sound and a quiet intensity. In this concert, his musical language will be interpreted by Rūdolfs Macats, Līva Dumpe, and friends.
