Kadıköy Cinema

Laugh with Europe’s comedy nomad Victor Pãtrãşcan - the rebel comedian-philosopher on your government’s watchlist! He’s back in town with a refreshed stand-up comedy show featuring fearless fun, friendly fire with the audience and thought provoking observations that will linger in your mind.

Don’t miss out on Victor’s newest jokes! Victor’s set includes new jokes not heard during his previous appearance in town.

Are you easily offended? Great! You’ll have something to talk about to your friends after the show. Victor's comedy isn’t about cheap provocation, he just doesn’t shy away from sensitive or sacred topics. With cheeky curiosity he tackles topics like politics, race, religion, gender, and everything in between. Aside from earning him millions of views online, Victor’s jokes have been officially labelled as “too funny” by the new Georgian government, barring him from entering their country (this is 100% real).

And yes, Victor talks to the audience, but only to the brave people who volunteer. Sit wherever you like, even in the front row, Victor only talks to the people who want to be spoken to.

Whether you’re a local, an expat, or lost in the world, come and laugh at the madness of modern life and enjoy Victor’s honest, clever and unapologetically funny jokes!

Victor Pãtrãşcan is an eccentric stand-up comedian and social commentator from Romania. He might be the only comedian in the world who’s always on tour. Without a home base, Victor has spent the last 5 years performing his self-produced shows across Europe, the Middle East, and throughout Asia.

Victor started his comedy journey in London back in 2012, where he honed his craft for telling jokes. In 2020, he broke out of the UK bubble to tour the world. Since then, he has been performing in a different city almost every day. Recently, he began sharing clips of his audience interactions online which have gained him international recognition.

Victor might be on the longest and most extensive self-produced comedy tour ever. For example, in 2024 alone, Victor performed 298 of his own shows on 2 continents in 114 cities to over 35.000 people. Even more exciting is that Victor was the first comedian to bring an English-language comedy show to places like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein and even remote fishing villages in Iceland.

Over the years, Victor has told his jokes in: Japan • Germany • Italy • Lebanon • Uzbekistan • the Netherlands • Greece • Austria • Singapore • Turkiye • Jordan • Sweden • France • Serbia • Switzerland • Georgia • Finland • Belgium • Azerbaijan • Iceland • Ukraine • Albania • Malta • Spain • Estonia • both sides of Cyprus • Ireland • Romania • Malaysia • South Korea • Liechtenstein • Kyrgyzstan • Bosnia and Herzegovina • Portugal • Kosovo • Gibraltar • Kazakhstan • the Czech Republic • Hong Kong • Norway • Slovakia • very close to the Vatican • Thailand • UK • Slovenia • Armenia • Croatia • Poland • Latvia • North Macedonia • Lithuania • Luxembourg • UAE • Denmark • Moldova • Vietnam • Hungary • and even Bulgaria.

Victor’s lived experience as a vagabond lies at the center of his approach to comedy. His stand-up has become a mirror to society capturing the quirks, customs and clichés of every place he visits. With a rebellious attitude, he transforms human quarrels into some of the most original stand-up you'll see today.

While he frequently pokes fun at stereotypes and cultural differences, his jokes also remind us that we are more similar than we think. His humour and outspoken criticism of nationalistic ideas have earned him millions of laughs and touched the nerves of bigots and people in power.
