How to build the team your startup actually needs: The right people, roles and responsibilities

Tehnopol Accelerator/ Tehnopol Kiirendi, Tallinn

Building a team often starts with a seemingly simple question: who do we need? Before making a hiring decision or dividing roles, there are a few more fundamental questions worth asking. What does the business actually need from the team? Which capabilities are already there? What is genuinely missing? And when something is not working, is another hire always the right answer?

At our September After Hours, Triin Raamat will look at how business needs, team dynamics and individual contribution come together when building a team.

The session will explore how to think about team needs, roles and responsibilities as a company grows. Triin will share real-world examples, practical observations and questions worth considering when building and developing a team.

Triin Raamat is a psychologist by education and has spent more than 20 years working with people and organisations. After nearly two decades in recruitment and executive search, she shifted her focus from individual people and roles to the wider system around them. Today, she works with leaders and teams to understand what is really happening beneath the surface and support better decisions about people, teams and performance.
